The Cavitation effect controls the even distribution of energy to the fatty tissue of the treatment area without affecting other body parts, blood vessels or surrounding tissue. The focused Ultrasound energy waves create micro-air bubbles in the fatty tissue emulsifying the fat, which is naturally drained by the lymphatic system and metabolised through the body. How does Ultrasonic Cavitation remove fat?
The vibration of positive and negative alternation of sound waves produces a strong pressure to fat cell membranes.
As the fat cell membrane cannot withstand this pressure, it will explode into the liquid content. After disruption of adipose cells (fat cells), the broken fat in the form of triglycerides is released into the interstitial fluid between the cells, where they are enzymatically metabolized to glycerol and free fatty acids. Water soluble glycerol is absorbed by the circulatory system and used as the energy source, whereas the insoluble free fatty acids are transported to the liver and processed as fatty acids from food
A quantity of fat cells are destroyed and therefore reduced, and the body’s fat cell metabolism is improved. Destroying these fat cells removes the body’s environment for fat storage.

After care for the next 3 days
- No caffeine (tea, coffee or coke)
- No alcohol (your liver is busy getting rid of all this extra fat)
- Drink lots of water and eat fruits (well it's what the lady there said)
- No very fatty meal directly after (ie: fried food)
Can the additional emulsified fat have any detrimental effect on the Liver?
NO, Any normal healthy liver can comfortably cope with the drainage and excretion of a greater amount of fat.
Are there any dietary requirements attached to the treatment?
Patients are encouraged to dramatically increase water intake immediately before and during the treatment period to assist detoxing.
It is recommended that patients eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables during the treatment period to aid the body in the detox process.
It is suggested that patients refrain from consuming dairy products, alcohol, caffeine, fatty foods, salt, sugar, wheat products, spicy food and seafood during the treatment period, as these food types slow down the detox process.
A moderate diet after the treatment period could form part of a healthy maintenance programme.

How soon will I see results?
Results can be seen and measured immediately after treatment, however as the fat metabolises you will see more dramatic results the next morning.

How many treatments will I need?
This will depend on how much you wish to contour and tone, your consultant will be able to guide you. From our experience desired results can be achieved between three and seven treatments.
How often can I come for treatment?
Ideally every three to four days. This is to allow the body time to metabolise the lipocytes.
What is the cost of the Lipo Laser treatments?
As the best results are seen after five to seven treatments every client is provided with a personal programme based on the patient’s age, relevant problem areas, budget and expectations.
